Firmos produces new Salicornia Bread Flour

Have you ever imagined being able to enjoy a tasty bread, crunchy crust and soft crumb without added salt? Firmos developed Bread Flour with Salicornia, a compound product of wheat with dry powdered Salicornia*, of proven quality **, to which it is sufficient to add water and yeast. This flour has a high-water absorption capacity and apart from normal fermentation processes, it is prepared to support all industrial production processes using cold technology. Rich in dietary fibres, iron, magnesium, calcium and vitamins, it gives rise to a peerless, satiating, high-volume bread of dark colour and pleasant taste.
