MILLS NATIONAL DAY

Today we commend our origins and so we share what is also our history, described by the words of our partner, the miller Joaquim Constantino, to whom we want to congratulate (https://www.tsf.pt/.../hoje-nao-esta-tempo-de-moer-mais...)

We start from the same origin, but we have not lost the charm. We just changed the device that transforms the cereal. The art remains and the love for our product is the same. We are the tradition that has been modernized, but we recognize the value and importance of our craft. To be a miller is to know how to listen to the work of your mill, whether it is powered by an engine or packed to the rhythm of the wind.

“In the Portuguese West Region alone, there are about 900 mills. The 12 municipalities in the region have a public plan underway to recover and enhance this heritage. It's called "West, mills with a future" and was presented in mid-March. (https://www.tsf.pt/Galerias/PDF/2021/04/moinhos.pdf)"
