Firmos builds a new silar block

Providing continuous supply of the best quality of products is crucial for Firmos. As such, a need was identified to increase storage of raw matters in the manufacturing unit, to select, store and manage more effectively the raw matters that guarantee production of the best flours. In 2016 Firmos invested in the construction of a new silo block, a long process that was recently concluded successfully, thanks to the combined effort of the different teams involved.

The new building received pictorial treatment designed by MED-CROMA (Module of Measurement and Chromatic Analysis, Colour Laboratory of the School of Architecture of the University of Lisbon), which reinforced the corporate image and significantly helps the integration of the new silo block in the pre-existing set of buildings and the surrounding landscape.
