Health

Lupin is a nutritionally rich legume: it contains large amounts of protein and phosphorus and high amounts of calcium, E and Vitamins of the B Complex, potassium, unsaturated fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6), iron and large amounts of fibres. Due to its low starch content, lupin plays a very important role in controlling the glycaemic index (blood sugar content / diabetes) and consequently reducing the incidence of obesity in the population. It also reduces the appetite and possesses emollient, diuretic and healing properties that promote cell renewal
